Friday July 21st 2023 – Updated (28/07/2023)

On the 21st of July, we went to Shoeburyness high school to participate in the SECAT summer fair.
Our goal was to raise awareness of CPOD.fun

by

We decided to create a stand that would focus on Pokemon, Art and temporary tattoos.
It is fair to say that our stand was the busiest stand at the whole fair. We managed to raise a total of £17.

We accepted donations for the items we were giving away. These items had all been created by the CPOD creators over the course of the year. Including bracelets, gods eyes and temporary tattoos (which were a huge hit)

Craig @draknus was also very attentive to his role. He adopted the job of a Pokemon professor and coached all the young children on how to play Pokemon TCG. Craig also created a Pokemon quiz that was ungoogleable. (If you want to have a go at this quiz scroll to the bottom of this post)

Top job Draknus

Special mention to Nicki and John for bringing all of the equipment we needed for the stand.

The following article was written by @gamerplayer99 who was working on the stand.

His personality, attention to detail and work ethic were outstanding. He worked very hard and even sacrificed his lunch to make time to look after everyone who had stopped by to see us. Excellent work Kyle!

We had one where we did members of the public doing Pokemon TCG against Craig and me. Craig was very good at Pokemon better than me. We had many members of the public doing Pokemon mash-up that Nicki was very good at doing.
I was really happy helping Nicki with the temporary. tattoos.

I was really happy with Aaron taking videos of the Pokemon TCG the Pokemon mashup and the temporary tattoos.
I was very happy when Maxine came with snacks.

I was very happy to get a cookie From Maxine. I was so hungry. I did not eat lunch until 2:50 pm but it was so worth it helping Nicki with the temporary tattoos.

I was very happy when Maxine helped me with the temporary tattoos. I was very happy when we made 17 pounds from donations at the event. I was sad that we did not sell the dream catchers although I was very happy that Craig helped with my Pokemon TCG match.

How We Prepared for the Day

First of all we have created a spider gram of what we need to do before the big day.

On display will be Pokemon Mashups + your chance to add your creation to our gallery.

Our pokemon professors will be hosting a pokemon TCG game so make sure you bring your pokemon decks! For help in how to build a deck go here

The resources below are for downloading. You can play too!
