Rebecca Moss Artist Video Exhibition
Location – Focal Point Gallery Southend Forum
Date: Friday 25th August
Last week we viewed an exhibition by Rebecca Moss at The Focal Point Gallery in Southend-on-sea.
We saw how her journey across the Pacific Ocean on a cargo ship transpired, and a series of art videos she created after this.
The collection of videos included;
• A cat holding a rope attached to a water balloon, and when the rope realised it soaked the woman sitting on a chair below.
• Someone dressed as a shark on a skateboard scaring the swans in the river.
• Chattering teeth with a mallet that was realised by the tide.
• A paving stone dropped on to a huge cake below.
• Pirate walking the plank
• Tablecloth attched to a rock and destroying glassware, plates etc
Me and Craig both agreed the Cat and the Water Balloon video was our favourite!
