Attending the Anime Conference Friday February 10th Novotel, Hammersmith.

What is anime?

Outside of Japan and in English, anime refers specifically to animation produced in Japan.[1] However, in Japan and in Japanese, anime (a term derived from a shortening of the English word animation) describes all animated works, regardless of style or origin.

The team has had a brilliant end to 2022. They have worked tirelessly throughout 2022 on creating merch, writing blogs, writing reviews and generally being creative.

The gang have a shared love of all things anime and gaming. When we learnt that a big anime conference is happening in London. The gang jumped at the chance to attend. We are going to bring you a concise report of our away day in London.

We asked the team what about the conference are they looking forwards to:

Gamerplayer99 says “There are so many things at the conference that I am looking forward to. I am going to be so happy just to be there!”

Draknus said ” I am looking forwards to meeting the voice actors, dressing up, the gaming tournaments (Smash Bros & Mario Cart) and the TCG pokemon tournaments.” he added “that he is worried that he will get swept up in the excitement of the day and that he will not be able to leave.”
