My review of London anime con February 2024

I thought this year’s anime con was amazing I managed to meet lots of voice actors from my childhood plus meeting Shao Dow again which was really fun.

I wandered around the anime con quite a bit but spent most of my time near the entrance talking to Robert McCollum about his roles in the anime.

He told me that Donquixote Doflamingo was probably his favourite because of his personality of being sadistic and a complete psychopath.

His least favourite but he still enjoyed was Jellal from Fairy Tail because he thought Jellal was a massive simp for Erza Scarlet.
I am really happy as well. I managed to convince Robert to watch Code Geass because I mentioned to him that the ending of Attack on Titan reminded me of Code Geass because the main characters in both situations kind of doing the same thing story-wise.

I also talked to D. C. Douglas quite a bit because I enjoyed his roles in JoJo Bizarre Adventures, Baki, One Piece and Shaman King.
They were all really good but my favourite was probably Wooden Sword Ryu from Shaman King because his personality and goal were really fun. Then there was Julian Seager he was surprised because I asked for his autograph for his role in Death Race as that was my earliest recollection of him.

I was also really happy because I got an Autograph from Erica Schroeder posted to me. After all, she voices my favourite anime character in anime, Monkey D. Luffy from One Piece.

In conclusion

It was so amazing being there and I’m hoping I will be able to go there again in August because Anime Con is so fun and getting to see everyone in the anime community there makes me really happy. Hopefully, there will be more amazing people there next time I go.
