Special Olympics
I play for a special olympics football team called Porters Soccability I have played for this club for eight years since Porters was founded in 2014. During my time at the club we have won so many medals, there are too many to remember. I do remember winning a gold medal at the Special Olympics at Stirling during a tournament in 2018.
Porters Soccability is an FA-affiliated disability football club based in Thundersley, which draws its players from across South East Essex.
Porters lose in quarter finals despite GamerPlayer99 goal.
20th October 2022 – Location Surrey.
We played a five aside football tournament in Surrey yesterday. We played a total of 6 matches and won 4 games. We managed to reach the quarter finals but unfortunately were knocked out on penalites.
My Gold Medal
My team went and won the gold medal in Stirling, Scotland. My team called Porters Soccability was staying in cabins and all the players were going to other players cabins and I was not allowed to have sugar. I was only allowed to have capri sun so that I would not get hyper in the games.
I was goalkeeper for a lot of the games.
I would let my teammate Tyler be in goal because my hand got injured. Tyler was playing his best in goal. Tyler was the goalkeeper in the very last game. I was on the field playing defence.
The coaches were very happy that my team went and won the whole special olympics and got gold. My teammate Kaily who was not that good at football was playing really well in defence in the special olympics.
My teammates Dan and Shawn trained me really well in goal. My teammate Kaily trained me doing my passing. It was thanks to my teammates Dan and Shawn that I did really well in the special olympics in goal. It was really good of Kaily to train me in passing and I did really well in the special olympics.
That is all i can remember for now about my special olympics in Stirling Scotland bye for now.
Some of my trophies
September 2023
Heroic Soccability Team lose in the Quarter Finals after penalties.
On Wednesday the 12th of September, eleven players from Porters from porters Socability travelled to Surrey to participate in a special Olympics football event. We had to leave very early as it was a very long drive in a minibus.
Our team did very well and we got to the quarter-finals. The score was 1-1 in full time, so we went to a penalty shootout which we sadly lost.
After the tournament, we went to a pub where we had a buffet for all the players and the drinks for all the players were free. The trophies were given to the winners.
Although I had not been able to get one, I had a really good time and was extremely tired and had been happy to end a long day.
